Students are awarded merit scholarships with and without consideration to the ACT or SAT tests. However, they are useful in determining placement in Math and English.

DSU offers the College Placement Test which, though not required for merit scholarships, is helpful in determining placement in Math and English. For information, dates, cost and exclusions, please go to the Testing Center.

The GED, HiSET, and any other High School Equivalency make students ineligible for Incoming Freshmen Scholarships.
